AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap, No Drip Filter Cap for AeroPress Portable Coffee Press, Specialty Coffee Maker, Black

The AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap offers a solution to the issue of leakages when using the AeroPress Portable Coffee Press without having to invert it. However, this solution creates another problem as the filter papers stick to the cap after removal, making it less convenient for discarding the puck and filter in one swift motion. Some customers have expressed disappointment with this aspect and would not purchase it again. On the other hand, some users have found value in this product, particularly those who enjoy decaf coffee and have a smaller choice of coffee options. The Flow Control Filter Cap allows them to use coarser grinds without having to invert the Aeropress or use multiple filters to avoid drip through. Despite the inconvenience of the filter sticking to the cap, these customers have found it to be a worthwhile purchase for the increased flexibility in coffee choices. It is worth noting that some users have mentioned that the original filter cap with two papers and the inverted technique still works best for them. Additionally, there have been complaints about the poor fit of this cap on the Aeropress body, which causes leaks during pressing and necessitates the removal of the filter and puck fragments from the cap. Overall, the AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap offers a solution to leakages but comes with some drawbacks. Customers have differing opinions on its value and convenience, with some finding it useful and others finding it expensive and impractical.
