Honey Refractometer, XRCLIF Portable Hand Held Honey Tester with LCD Display(Baume:38-43°;Brix:58-92%;Water:12-27%), Sugar Content Meter for Honey

The Honey Refractometer by XRCLIF is a portable and hand-held device that is designed to measure the sugar content in various substances such as honey, fruit juices, and beverages. With its LCD display and wide range of measurements, it offers convenience and accuracy for users. One of the main concerns raised by customers in the Q&A section is the issue of calibration. Users were confused about how to calibrate the device, as there is no zero scale indicated on any of the scales, including the Brix scale. The manufacturer suggests using olive oil for calibration, with a Brix reading of 69/79. Another user asked if almond oil could be used instead, to which the manufacturer responded that olive oil is generally more Consistent for calibration purposes. The lack of a zero scale was another issue mentioned by customers. The manufacturer suggests calibrating the device using a drop of extra virgin olive oil until the Brix reading is 71.5. They also point out that the instructions mentioning a zero scale and using distilled water are only relevant for a model that detects salinity, not water content. Overall, customers seem to have mixed experiences with the Honey Refractometer. While it appears to provide accurate readings, the lack of a zero scale and confusion regarding calibration instructions have caused some frustration among users.
