Have you read the reviews, why is it clumping. Why does most people say its not real slippery elm?

It does clump a little. I put mine in a small screw top jar, add cold water and shake vigorously, this works for me.

I mix 5g with 50ml water as instructed. This is like gloop. I can’t drink it, so basically eat it with a spoon. Is this correct?

Sprinkle one teaspoon of slippery elm powder onto about 50ml of water in a cup, then stir slowly until fully dissolved; once fully dissolved add hot water to fill the cup, leave to cool, about 15 minutes and then drink.

How long does slippery elm lasts from opening the pack?

I bought my pack over 2 years ago & it was put into a plastic box with a tight fitting lid, there is still some left in the box as I only use it occasionally now if my stomach flares up, it seems to be fine.

How long does this keep for (in its unopened packet/tub)?

I have not ever kept Slippery Elm and not used it. There should be a 'USE BY DATE' on the tub or packaging. Mine I opened some weeks ago using daily. It is tightly sealed after each use and placed at the bottom of the fridge. Unused, I would suggest keeping in a cool place.

I sprinkle on dogs food how do other people give to their dogs?

Yep just sprinkle and mix in. Great if raw feeding but you could mix a little water with your kibble and mix in too if needed. Our dog is DIY Raw fed and eats it fine. Fantastic to give if they have any tummy upsets too.
