The cup's ability to be worn for up to eight hours without leaking is frequently lauded, making it a game-changer for those managing their periods, especially for individuals with specific health concerns like inflammatory bowel disease. First-time users can find the initial insertion process a bit challenging. However, there’s widespread agreement that perseverance pays off; many customers report that after some trial and error, they adapt to its use and find it becomes easier and more comfortable over time. The Ruby Cup's design tends to feel bulky initially, which can be discouraging for some, but many report a learning curve that ultimately leads to satisfaction with the product's performance. The ethical and environmental aspects of the Ruby Cup are frequently highlighted as significant factors in users' choices, with many expressing joy about not contributing to plastic waste anymore. Moreover, the cup is noted for its comfort once fitted properly, with several users mentioning they can no longer feel it after insertion. Nonetheless, there are a few downsides noted by users. Some experience leaking, particularly if the cup is not properly positioned, which can be a source of frustration. Users also mention that the folding process may require additional practice, and in some cases, the material can feel a bit hard. Stains are common, especially on lighter-colored versions; thus users recommend darker colors to avoid this issue.
