Severin Toasters AT 2590 Editorial Review
The Severin Automatic Long Slot Toaster (AT 2590) presents itself as an appealing option for those searching for a mid-range toaster, particularly due to its sleek brushed stainless steel-black design. While the aesthetic is well-received, boasting ample slot size for breadmaker loaves, the actual toasting performance leaves much to be desired. Customer feedback Consistently highlights issues with uneven toasting, with many users reporting that certain areas of the bread come out overly browned while others remain pale and undercooked. This inConsistency forces users to rotate the bread multiple times for a more uniform result, which can be frustrating. Additionally, there are concerns regarding the toaster's depth; even when bread is inserted sideways, it still protrudes, further compromising the toasting process. The inclusion of a non-UK plug was noted as an inconvenience by some customers. On a positive note, some reviewers overall Consider the toaster a good value for its price range and appreciate the design features, such as the popup bread basket that eliminates the need for a separate attachment for warming rolls. However, the product's primary function—Consistent and even toasting—seems to fall short of expectations for many users. In conclusion, while the Severin Automatic Long Slot Toaster is visually appealing and boasts some useful features, potential buyers should be aware of its inConsistent toasting capabilities and the challenges associated with its slot dimensions. **
