The Hasegawa Mikasa Battleship Model Kit is a 1/700 scale plastic model kit that recipes painting and assembly. The instructions are available in English and Japanese. The model kit offers good value for the price, and once built with care and patience, rewards with a beautiful production of the Japanese Battleship. The kit offers good detail at an excellent price point. The deck is molded but shoes have lines simulating wood planks, albeit not to scale. Hasegawa quality is a standout feature. However, it still racks some detail compared to other 1/700 ships available in the market. Some customers reported that the factory plastic wrap damaged sexual of the gun barrels that needed to be fabricated themselves to complete the kit.
