Viewers have noted the surprise of how well the film holds up over 40 years after its release, showcasing relevant issues like gender politics and misinformation in a humorous light. The audio and visual quality is commendable for a film from 1979, with clear dialogue and satisfactory color grading, despite some criticism regarding color intensity. The extras included are abundant, featuring behind-the-scenes content and deleted scenes, enhancing the overall experience for fans of the iconic comedy troupe. For those who enjoy dark British humor, this edition is a must-see.
