This Cerium Oxide polish is perfect for removing scratches from glass as long as they are shallow. It is a fine grit polish that does not leave a haze on the surface. It is not recommended for removing etching from glassware. The product is difficult to use manually as it is designed to be used with a felt polishing pad attached to a drill or buffer with at least 800-1000 rpm. Customers have used it for polishing rocks and getting their 5th stage of rock tumbling. It is effective at removing hard spots and scratches from glass windows and car windshields. It can also remove calcium and other deposits from aquariums. However, it is not effective at removing pitting. The packaging has caused issues for some customers as it has been delivered in a plastic bag with some customers reporting that they only received half a container.
