The JACO ElitePro tyre pressure gauge is a well-manufactured device that has been designed, engineered and tested in the US and produced in the PRC. It has more threaded metal parts than other gauges, making it more durable. It is not known if each unit is individually tested for accuracy; however, two bought units were within two tenths of each other. The "hold" feature means that it will hold the reading once taken out of the valve stem. Regarding deflation, it takes 1-2 minutes for the Elite Digital to drop 20+ PSI, making it inappropriate for deflation compared to JACO RapidFlow Tire Deflator, which takes about 15 seconds. The gauge is temperature tolerant and worked in -40F. The air pressure readings are accurate within 0.5 psi, which is good for tire pressure measurement. Most customers appreciated the gauge's accuracy and ease of use, with many considering it the best one they’ve ever owned. One customer said the gauge was the worst, delivered five different tire pressures on one tire, and was of poor quality, despite appearing durable.
