The product was designed for parade use only, and stronger magnets are available for driving use. The total length of the pole is approximately 11 inches. According to reviews, the product works well on flat surfaces, like metal, but doesn't hold up against wind, causing the flags to fly off at speeds of more than 60 miles an hour. The flags look decent upon arrival, but they fell apart pretty quickly. However, the product succeeded in helping one customer locate their car in a crowded parking lot.
