The cables are functional, but not particularly pretty. Each cable is 45cm long, which may not be long enough for use in larger mid tower or full tower cases depending on the location of the switch and the motherboard. The switch has a momentary on/off function. The switch can be used as a replacement for a failing power on/off switch mount on the top of a small tower computer. The installation is straightforward; one should find a motherboard manual online under the manufacturer to ensure the correct connection.
