The NESDR SMArTee XTR is an SDR device that functions in the frequency range of 55MHz to 2300MHz. It is compatible with USB 3.0 ports and can be used with Mac OS X. An upconverter can be added to expand its frequency range into 100kHz to 65MHz. It can be used for P25 applications with an appropriate adapter. It is a receive-only device that cannot be used for full duplex transmission/reception. The device comes with a bias T that can be removed if needed. A broad vertical stripe might appear on SDR# and multipsk when using this device due to DC offset, which can be corrected but is not necessary. The customer reviews for the NESDR SMArTee XTR are mixed. Some buyers reported that the device heats up quickly and stops working after a short time, while others have used it for several hours without any issues. Some buyers also had issues with the drivers crashing their computers, and others did not like that the device can only be used with CubicSDR and not SDR#.
