The PRO-MIX Premium Organic Garden Mix 2 Cu. ft. Compressed Soil is a great choice for filling raised beds and pots. It's effortless to direct sow seeds in as it doesn't have any large chunks that can block seedlings from sprouting. It also has great moisture retention. Although it is currently out of stock at many locations, it is expected to be popular when it is restocked. Some customers complimented the service they received, like Morgan at Walmart in Grove City, PA. However, some customers found it difficult to get answers from Premiere regarding the "wetting agent" or the smell of manure. The company estimates that the "ammonia smell" will dissipate in a few days after being "fluffed" and "aerated," but some customers still experienced a strong odor even after 72 hours. Some gardeners found white mold around the edges of the bags and deemed it unusable. Although some questions from customers might go unanswered, it remains a handy and good-quality option for planting in pots and topping off raised beds.
