It comes with a rain cover and extra lower compression straps, which are essential for backpacking adventures. It is an upgrade from the earlier versions of the backpack, according to customers. The compression strap holds up quite well, but some have complained about the poor "quick adjust" waist belt system that failed after just two uses. However, Osprey's lifetime warranty is comforting if you are worried about long-term wear and tear.
