- It can read multiple types of load cells and offers a serial menu for configuration.
- Simply attach a four or five-wire load cell of any capacity and plug the OpenScale into a USB port to immediately see mass readings.
- The OpenScale is designed for static loads or constant readings without user intervention.
- It includes an ATmega328P microcontroller for communication, an HX711 24-bit ADC for weigh scales, and a TMP102 for recording ambient temperature.
- Communication is at a TTL level of 9,600bps 8-N-1 by default, with a configurable baud rate from 1,200bps to 1,000,000bps.
