The Timber Tuff Log Peeler is a handy tool to have for log debarking and shaping. It attaches to your chainsaw by bolting the two bolts in the slotted grooves to your chainsaw bar. Your chainsaw chain will then wrap around a loop on the end of the peeler to make the product operate. The product is made in China and the manufacturer recommends contacting them for replacement blades. The blades may wear out quickly if used aggressively, so this product works best on 8-9" diameter logs and trees where you are shaving the bark and a couple of inches off the outer diameter where you have a rounded surface you are starting on. It may catch/jump if you have a rough corner or an edge like a stump. Though it could work, it will take a little caution on the worker's part. You could sharpen its blades and use it on roots in your yard, but it may take a little extra effort.
