The Ancel VD500 is a diagnostic tool designed for VW vehicles with 16PIN OBD2 Ports. It has the capability to read and clear fault codes on a variety of car models. However, it is not recommended for Japanese cars. It can reset the throttle body on a 1999 Passat, and can also scan and clear fault codes on a 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit's airbag. It can reset Adblue warning sensors and read some codes, but not all, for parking assist systems on a vehicle. This tool does not work for coding a new battery for a 2014 Audi S4. Reviews are mixed, with some customers claiming the tool works well and saves them money, and others claiming that it did not work for their specific model and year of vehicle.
