It features indexed shifting which allows for smooth and fast gear changes, similar to higher-end shifters. The installation is straightforward with only a couple of hex head drivers and a screwdriver needed, and the cables are long enough for most bikes, requiring trimming. The build quality is good, and the shifters work well with Shimano and SRAM derailleurs. So far, there have been no issues with durability after around 200 miles of riding.
