BB King's Live at the Regal is undoubtedly a masterpiece of blues music. Recorded in 1964 at the Regal Theater in Chicago, this album showcases King at the peak of his abilities. The performance is electrifying and will take you back to a cold November evening in 1964. King's guitar playing is soulful, and his vocals are powerful, emotive, and gritty. The CD is excellent, and the condition is flawless. This makes for a great listening experience. This recording is without any doubt an easy rating of five stars. BB King's Live at the Regal has undoubtedly changed many people's taste for blues music. However, it must be pointed out that the CD is quite short, running just under 35 minutes. While this was typical of records in those days, this CD could benefit from some bonus tracks to make it longer. One can't help but wonder whether there are more tracks that have not yet been released. Overall, BB King's Live at the Regal is an amazing album that will transport you back to a bygone era of classic blues music.
