It is a full-frame lens that's compatible with Sony full-frame E mount cameras and works great on Sony A7RIV cameras. The 67mm filter size on the lens hood makes it easy to add a cpl filter. The lens is weather-sealed and can be used with a Sony to Nikon adapter for Nikon D3. While the lens does not have optical stabilization, it depends on IBIS, and for night sky photography, the 20mm may be a better choice. Although the lens has tremendous resolution, even on a 61MP camera, it has difficulty focusing on fast f/8 and occasionally struggles with autofocus when shooting videos with the Sony a7IV, wherein it stops working after a few minutes and stays in MF mode. While it is a bit noisy and slow to autofocus, the image and video quality are still great given the lens's price range.
