### Editorial Review The WPW10006355 Washer Shift Actuator by AMI PARTS has garnered mixed feedback from users, revealing a diverse customer experience with this product. While some customers have reported successful replacements that restored the proper functionality of their Whirlpool-Kenmore washing machines, others have encountered significant issues with quality and reliability. One user shared a positive experience after replacing a faulty actuator, noting that it seamlessly integrated with the old unit and worked efficiently at a fraction of the OEM cost. The ease of installation and the provided recalibration instructions further added to their satisfaction. This customer expressed that, after over 30 years of usage, they were impressed that the actuator was performing identically to their previous unit, highlighting that the price point was a major selling factor. However, not all experiences were as favorable. Some customers reported receiving defective units that did not work as advertised, leading to frustration, particularly when the 30-day return policy had lapsed before issues were discovered. Concerns regarding the build quality also emerged, with one review lamenting that the new actuator did not match the quality of the original parts. In conclusion, the experiences with the WPW10006355 Washer Shift Actuator appear to fluctuate largely around quality control issues, while its affordability and functionality when working correctly are well praised. Customers are advised to weigh the cost benefits against potential risks of receiving a defective product. ### Pros and Cons **
