The hygger Aquarium Wave Maker Circulation Pump is an affordable and small option which could be a budget option for coral reef tanks. The pump is ultra-silence and comes with a strong magnet suction base which is ideal for fresh or saltwater tanks. The flow rate is non-adjustable but the head and the entire pump can be rotated. The 6ft power cord is suitable for fish tanks with a thickness of 4mm-10mm. The pump works well, and although the magnet is weak, it has good manual adjustment for angle and flow. Some reviewers experienced initial teething problems, such as the motors reversing in flow and making a very loud noise, or the motor quitting after only a few days. However, this can be resolved by unplugging and plugging it back in, and in one case, breaking apart the motor and then putting it back together.
