Biedermann & Sons Hand-Painted Seashore Scene Jar Candle Shades, Multicolor, 4 Inch Tall - Set of 4

The Biedermann & Sons Jar Candle Shade, featuring a charming hand-painted glass lighthouse beach scene, elicits a mix of admiration and concern among customers. Many buyers appreciate its aesthetic appeal, finding it a delightful addition to their home décor and a thoughtful gift for lighthouse enthusiasts. The charming design brings a seaside vibe that resonates well with those who love nautical themes. However, despite its visual charm, functionality appears to be a significant drawback. Several customers have reported alarming experiences, most notably that the shade cannot withstand the heat generated by candles, leading to cracking and potential safety hazards. One user recounted a particularly chilling moment when the glass shade cracked unexpectedly, resulting in a near injury. This highlights a critical flaw in its Construction, raising serious concerns about its safety and practicality for lighted candle use. While some users have noted that the candle shade fits well over standard candle jars, the risk of it breaking under heat raises questions regarding whether it can be recommended without reservations. Additionally, there have been mixed messages about product presentation, with instances of receiving fewer items than expected and quality assurance issues like shipping damage further complicating customer satisfaction. Overall, the Biedermann & Sons Jar Candle Shade is beautifully designed but has been met with caution due to safety concerns. Buyers may wish to weigh the decorative benefits against the risk of malfunction before making a purchase. **
