kekykm Sissy Bars TL-015 Editorial Review

The 1997-2025 Adjustable Rider Driver Backrest for Harley Davidson Touring models has garnered a mix of enthusiasm and frustration from users. Many customers appreciate the comfort and aesthetic appeal of the backrest, highlighting its effective support during long rides. After installation, several reviewers reported a significant improvement in their riding experience, especially for those on bikes without windshields. However, the installation process has been a point of contention. While some found it straightforward, others encountered challenges with the manufacturer's unclear instructions and the fitting of the backrest. A few users cited difficulties with the base receiver's compatibility with their seats, leading to frustrating experiences during installation. Despite these hurdles, those with mechanical aptitude often found solutions, like using hose clamps or twine to assist with setup. Quality overall seems to meet expectations for a product in this price range, which is generally lower than the comparable Harley-Davidson model. However, there are warnings from some users about poor engineering that may require modifications to the base for proper fit. In summary, the backrest is generally well-received for its comfort and price point, but potential buyers should be prepared for a possibly intricate installation process and Consider whether they're willing to address fitment issues. **
