With good sensitivity and accuracy, this little radio is quite impressive in picking up signals of offshore broadcasts across all domestic AM and FM stations. The telescoping antenna is long, though reception can be weak in areas with really strong FM stations, which could create a problem for those using the SW band. The analog tuner, however, lengthens the battery life, and the radio has a strong and well-made body with a flip-out back stand. It lacks a few features due to its low price, such as the additional clip-on wire antenna, which is useful for camping or trips.
