It's still better than not having anything. I would pick this one over the temper glass 9H. The fingerprint scanner works a lot better than the temper glass 9H as well.

I don't know what 'self-healing' is, but it pretty much adheres to the phone and smooths by itself. It does feel smooth as glass, but I have noticed a small crack in the screen under the protector. So far, it hasn't interfered with the phone's performance.
