The Fender FB1225 Electric Bass Gig Bag is well built and offers adequate protection for electric guitars. It has adjustable support for the neck with two pieces of felt-covered foam that can be moved along a wide strip of Velcro. The bag fits snuggly for a Fender, but it hasn't been tried with other basses. The backpack straps are stowable on the back. It's a very thick and well-padded bag/case. While the product is highly recommended, many customers have reported that the sizing is misleading and that it's not sturdy enough. It's also pretty heavy for a gig bag, making it difficult to carry around. Some customers have experienced issues with the stitching and found that it's better to purchase this bag during sales or as a used item. Moreover, it's not suitable for Fender Precision Bass and some customers have had to return the product.
