The syrup should go in the other spout so that it is outside the metal canister but still inside the plastic see-through container. Users should add more ice, salt and water to the inside container every 15 to 20 minutes until it becomes slush. Some customers have had issues with the machine breaking or not working at all. Some customers have also had trouble making the slushies, stating that it takes hours to create a slushy, while others have had to add more ice and salt to fix runny slushies.
