They fit standard letter-sized paper and have a protective film covering to keep them fingerprint and scratch-free before use. Although the product is advertised as clear, some customers have noted that the frames have a frosted appearance due to the protective film. However, this film can be easily removed by picking at a corner. The packaging of the product has come under scrutiny with the set arriving in a large box with minimal cushioning, leading to 11 of the 12 frames arriving damaged in some way. Customers who used heavier cardstock signs found that the stands became unbalanced and could tip over easily. This could be mitigated by using tacky tape or museum wax to keep the sign in place. Despite some issues with packaging and the flimsiness of the product, many customers praised the quality and size of the frames, noting that they are better than cheaper alternatives found at dollar stores.
