These wax clamshells are a great option for making candle melts. They are 2x3 inches and can hold 2ozs of wax per clamshell package. They are priced reasonably at 25 cents per piece and the wax does not melt or warp at 185F. The product works well and is easy to get out of the container without leaving an unattractive film coating on the package. The wax also did not leave a funny plastic smell. Unfortunately, there have been some issues reported in the reviews. Some customers reported cracks in about half of the packages while others found that the quality was amazing until they found a number of clamshells that were chipped/broken down the middle or didn’t even come with lids. There have also been some reports of dented and holed packages. Moreover, some customers reported that the tops that cover the shells were cut off or just pulled right off which resulted in unusable products. On the other hand, this product has worked well for others who found no leaks during use and no issues with the quality of the product.
