It is slightly heavier than an ATC or Reverso, but makes up for it in added functionality and durability. The device locks up solidly on a fall and provides solid assisted braking. Easy to use in both modes, it feeds smoothly and can control the rate of descent. One downside is that it slips a little more than the older Megajuul model. Despite that, it is a superior product for those who are not comfortable with the Grigri and looking for an extra layer of protection.
