The Seeed Studio Respeaker 2-Mics Pi HAT works well with the Raspberry Pi, but there are some problems in getting it to work properly. Some users have reported having difficulty with drivers not installing, a lack of support and documentation, and issues with compatibility with different operating systems. Those who did get it working said that the audio quality was decent, even though it was mono not stereo. It has a built-in amp and speaker out but has no support for Microphone In on the 3.5mm jack. Users can use the speaker output and 3.5 jack at the same time, but it will need to be configured in software. The mic quality was reported mixed, with some users reporting that they got better results from using a Bluetooth speaker instead. On the positive side, it's nicely made at a good price with GROVE connectors being a definite plus for some users. The I2C can also be used to control a servo board.
