The hanger has a welded cradle that has a rubberized finish to prevent scratching of the guitar. It can stretch to fit different size guitar necks, and it can also be used for other instruments. The product works excellent at gigs and keeps the guitar safe from stomping or being kicked over. The plate can fit up to a 1" round handle or a brace below the round bar, keeping the cradle horizontal and the plate vertical. The hanger head can be exchanged with other hangers of the same brand for other instruments. Although the product is advertised for hanging on a round amp handle, customers have found it to work well for hanging off a door or a cabinet door.
