This subwoofer amp has a low frequency cut-off so it will only work as a subwoofer amp. It has left and right inputs because requiring both channels for bass frequencies. The back panel is open and mounted on the back of the subwoofer. It is not suitable for 220VAC only 110VAC. The reviews seem to be mixed. Some say it's underpowered for their needs, but others appreciate the low power Consumption and good sound quality. Some experienced issues with the product dying after only a short time. One customer was able to make it work with an 8-ohm 50-100 watt passive subwoofer by cutting a hole in the back, soldering the wires and attaching the plate to the back of the subcase. Another used it to rebuild a sub that had blown its amp and was satisfied with the sound quality. Customers were particularly happy with Parts Express' customer service and fast shipping.
