Pandemic Legacy Season 1 Blue Edition Board Game is a cooperative board game that tells a story across 12-24 games. The game can be played like regular Pandemic for a one-time game, and the rules tell you what to ignore to play Pandemic Standard. You don't need the original game; everything is included in this set, and you can play with 2-4 players of age 13 and above, and an average playtime of 60 minutes. Although the rules aren't complicated, there are a lot of new things to keep track of, making it challenging for children under nine years old. Players start with a few characters to choose from with increasing difficulty and can fund events. The game introduces additional goals and game mechanisms as you play through and stickers that you add to the rulebook. However, since you "destroy" parts of the game during the sessions, it can't be played more than once. Players loved the game's challenges and engaged in it, creating suspense and renewing their determination. They said they would play it many times a week or even in a night. Players stated that the game is high quality and a fun extended way to play with family. The game is challenging, even when learning, and fun when understood.
