The plot revolves around the discovery of a planet named Remina that threatens to devour Earth, with Remina Oguro, after whom the planet is named, being blamed for its arrival. However, the characters are underdeveloped, leaving little room for emotional connection. The setting, particularly the landscape of planet Remina, is intriguing but lacks exploration. Despite its shortcomings, "Remina" may still appeal to fans of Junji Ito's work, but it falls short when compared to his other iconic works such as "Uzumaki" and "Tomie."
