There is a separate motor kit that is sold and is not included in the box. The set comes with metal balls which are smaller than standard marbles. However, additional marbles can be purchased at a later time. Users are advised to use wood glue and to file down some of the pieces. Overall, the product has been well-received by customers who enjoyed building it with family members or as a solo project. Users have noted that it is a great introduction to civil engineering. However, some have had issues with the marbles not making it back up the first hill or the skate park not functioning.
