Game Programming Editorial Review
**** "Godot 4: Introduction to GDScript" has received mixed feedback from customers, reflecting a divide in opinion on the book's utility and quality as an educational resource for beginners in GDScript and Godot 4. Many reviewers praise the book for its clear and concise introduction to fundamental programming concepts, particularly in relation to the GDScript language. Readers appreciate the practical examples provided, as they are deemed useful for grasping the basics of programming and game development within the Godot framework. However, some users express disappointment, wishing for more comprehensive project examples beyond the two provided in the book, as they found these projects incredibly helpful for hands-on learning. Despite this, the general Consensus points towards the book being a solid foundational resource. Conversely, a notable negative review sharply criticizes the quality of writing and content, claiming that the author fails to deliver value, leading this reader to forgo any helpful insights the book might offer. This stark contrast in opinions suggests that while some find immense value and utility in the book, others feel it falls short of expectations, emphasizing the subjective nature of its reception. Overall, "Godot 4: Introduction to GDScript" can be seen as a helpful starting point for those new to GDScript, but potential readers should keep in mind that experiences vary widely. **
