Although this auger is carbed for warm weather, it can still be used in winter, but starts a little harder. The auger powerhead does not come with an auger bit, it is sold separately, but it can be used with an Eskimo ice auger. However, the carb is jetted differently for each season, so it is recommended to buy a complete ice auger. This auger is not recommended for drilling through concrete, but the manufacturer provides recommendations on how to drill through concrete.
