The Craftsman Evolv 4-1/2 inch angle grinder is a good tool for DIY work and light duty work around the house. It has a maximum rpm of 12,000 and 7.5 amps, and the spindle thread is 5/8"-11. It does not have a variable speed feature, but it is easy to change the brushes. However, guards must be used with all grinding wheels, sanding flap discs, wire brushes, and wire wheels, and the tool may be used without a guard only when sanding with conventional sanding discs. Overall, customers have been satisfied with the product and it is a good value for the price. It is well-built and works well for light concrete grinding. However, some customers are disappointed that it is not made in the USA.
