It is not too heavy and doesn't make you sweat even when used in warm weather. The blanket is water-resistant and liquids don't soak through thanks to the stay-dry lining. Customers who tested the blanket with liquid confirm that it does not leak through. The blanket is designed to keep the mattress and bedding clean and dry, and it's perfect to protect the bed from cat pee or other spills. However, some customers may find it uncomfortable to rub the liquid into the blanket to absorb it since it pools instead of absorbing. The blanket is not designed to protect furniture as liquid can penetrate and cause a permanent smell. Pros include waterproof, easy to clean, and good quality. Cons include some pooling of liquid and is not suitable to protect furniture.
