Evans Tom-Tom Drumheads TT16HB Editorial Review
The Evans Hydraulic Red Drum Head is a quality head by a well-known company. It has a deeper and fatter sound compared to one-ply heads, but may require muffling for desired sound. The snare drum version provides a deeper pop sound. The heads are durable and easy to tune, and the hydraulic fluid eliminates the need for dampening systems. However, some customers have received the product bent or mishandled. Overall, it is a good option for those looking for a different sound for their drums.
