The Engineer Precision Crimping Pliers for Open Barrel Terminals PA-20 is a well-built, precise tool that can make good, solid crimps on stamped style terminals with smaller ga wire ranging from 18 to 32. Customers have used it on ECUs and sensors on their cars, as well as on dupont and jst-xh connectors, Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 connectors, and KF2510 connectors. The tool crimps conductors and insulation in separate passes and creates a roll-down style crimp on two tabs. However, some customers received counterfeit tools made in Taiwan instead of the advertised made in Japan product, and some found the crimping jaws to have a loose tolerance that prevented them from closing fully. A few customers recommended getting the Qibaok tool instead for better mechanical advantage and higher pressure, as well as unpainted jaws to avoid crimp contamination. Despite these drawbacks, many customers found the Engineer PA-20 to be easy to use, high quality, and more precise than cheaper alternatives that crimp both conductor and insulation at the same time.
