Jewish Life Editorial Review
**** "Getting Good at Getting Older" emerges as an essential guide for navigating the complexities of aging with both wisdom and humor. Authored by Rabbi Laura Geller and her late husband Richard Siegel, the book artfully balances personal anecdotes, expert insights, and practical advice, which resonates deeply with aging Boomers and seniors alike. The authors emphasize that wisdom does not simply come with age; rather, it is a cultivated trait that flourishes through experience, reflection, and community engagement. This perspective makes the book not just informative but also highly reflective. Each section presents a vast array of exercises, strategies, and helpful tools, fostering an interactive learning experience. Readers appreciate the contributions from various experts, particularly highlights such as Deborah Goldstein's poignant piece on downsizing, which adds a fresh layer to the discussion on life's transitions. The reader-friendly layout encourages dipping in and out, offering a conversational feel akin to sharing insights with friends. This makes it an appealing companion for those facing challenges in their later years. Combining insight with a touch of humor, the book effectively addresses common anxieties about aging—making it both a comforting and practical resource. It is noteworthy that Rabbi Geller's heartfelt reflections regarding her own experiences of loss add a profound emotional depth to the narratives. Overall, "Getting Good at Getting Older" stands out as a thoughtful resource that encourages readers to embrace their journeys with optimism and a greater sense of purpose. **

“Quick and easy, from order to delivery, package came with DHL quicker than expected. We are loving the Garmin Pro e-collar, we don't use it for bark control, just training, and for our GSP with high energy, it has changed our lives in how he listens to commands now.”
