Interior dimensions are 15" (38cm) wide and 11 1/2" (28.5cm) long and 1/2" (13cm) deep on top and 1/2" on the bottom. Just remember that the depth of the case is halved (1") since it is cut in half, height-wise. There is a pouch on the top, so if your laptop is 1" tall you will not have room to put anything in there except for maybe some documents, but definitely not a power supply, unless the laptop is not as deep as 11 1/2". Anyway, hope that helps!! I have a Dell Inspiron 15 in it and it fits very well, has a little room on each side, so a thin 16" laptop should fit with little, or no, issue.
