The Freenove Super Starter Kit for ESP32-S3-WROOM is a great learning tool and worked as expected according to a customer. The customer was able to get the board to blink, connect to Bluetooth, send messages, connect to wifi, and even use the board as a wifi camera for bird watching. However, the customer wished there were more micro python tutorials. They also noted that if you want to do the camera wifi stream, you have to follow the C code tutorial and use the Arduino IDE, as the micropython tutorial did not go that far. Some advantages of the Freenove board implementation are the high camera quality, two USB type C ports that last longer than micro B ports, and a built-in CSI. The company, Freenove, was responsive to emails, helpful with troubleshooting steps or returns and made a tutorial for their board and kits. The one negative review complained of missing pieces in the kit and seemed to have received a used product. Overall, the Freenove Super Starter Kit for ESP32-S3-WROOM is a great product for those looking to start learning with a development board.
