It comes with an adapter that takes in bare cable ends, and a threaded barrel connector to tighten the cable in place. Customers have used it for VW air cooled motors and trikes with good results. However, one customer had a problem with the heim joint pulling out of the main body upon the first use. The linkage is adjustable, and the stud length is approximately half an inch.
