Chamber Music 028943870023 Editorial Review
### Schubert: Complete Trios The "Schubert: Complete Trios" offers an exceptional musical experience, showcasing the brilliance of both the Beaux Arts Trio and the Grumiaux Trio. The set includes Schubert's masterful contributions to chamber music, with particular focus on the significant B flat and E flat piano trios. These compositions are heralded as essential listening in the chamber music repertoire, praised by contemporaries like Robert Schumann, who highlighted their power to uplift the human spirit. Listeners commend the Beaux Arts Trio for their expert handling of the nuanced melodies and complex rhythms across the trios. The confident opening, lyrical interplay between the instruments, sprightly scherzos, and joy-filled finales create a dynamic and engaging listening experience. The E flat trio stands out for its intricate structure and dramatic yet lyrical qualities, revealing its enduring appeal over repeated listens. Schubert's ingenious interplay, especially evident in the second movement's canonic scherzo and the finale's rhythmic energy, illustrates the depth of his musical genius. However, while many praise the Beaux Arts rendition, some critics elevate the Grumiaux Trio's performance of the String Trio in B flat as the pinnacle of the collection, citing Arthur Grumiaux's extraordinary violin work as paramount in achieving a sublime musical experience. The recording quality, despite its age, is noted for its clarity and immediacy, offering a fresh auditory experience that continues to resonate. Overall, this compilation serves as an essential acquisition for both Schubert aficionados and newcomers alike. The performances are celebrated for their excellence, and the recordings ensure that familiar and lesser-known works alike shine through, encapsulating the essence of Schubert's chamber music. --- **

“I bought Huckberry Flint & Tinder blazer at Ubuy. My request for a return was rejected at first but later I received an apology message willing to resolve the matter without placing any burden on me. I really appreciate their resolution. The blazer was collected yesterday by DHL couriers on behalf of Ubuy. They can only do a refund and not offer a bigger size as i expected, but i am fine with that too. ”
