The QuietComfort 45s have noise cancelling capabilities, and though they do not have an IPX rating, they block out more sound than earplugs. They have successful noise reduction whilst watching films and make great earmuffs in noisy situations at home, on planes or even whilst vacuuming. However, customers have had mixed experiences with the comfort of these headphones, as one reviewer found them tight on their head, whilst another found them lightweight and perfect for use with glasses. The sound quality has also been met with mixed reviews as some report experiencing wonderful audio quality while others have had technical issues with them failing to turn on or charge.
