The kitchen guide is 20 degrees, which allows you to put a small microbevel on your Asian blades, making them quicker to touch-up. The abrasive disk lasts approximately 100 sharpenings per side. The sharpener is not ideal for sharpening Wustoff knives with 14-degree angles per side as it creates 20-degree angles. Customers have commented that it sharpened their knives well and is easy to use, although some find it difficult to hold it in a stable position. It is not as good as more expensive sharpeners and there have been issues with the drive belt breaking. The sharpener has impressed by quickly and easily turning dull blades into sharp ones, and has a 3 year warranty. Some customers have faced difficulties with sharpening scissors and the product came with incorrect listing information for "DAA."
